District Judge Justin Yeo
Executive Director, Singapore Judicial College

Judge Justin Yeo is the Executive Director of the Singapore Judicial College.

He graduated as the valedictorian of his class in the National University of Singapore, with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours). He obtained a Master of Laws from Harvard University.

He commenced his career as Justices’ Law Clerk to the Supreme Court bench and was subsequently appointed Senior Justices’ Law Clerk. He was appointed Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court and was one of the pioneering registrars of the Singapore International Commercial Court when it was established in 2015. He was appointed as Deputy Divisional Registrar of both the Court of Appeal and the Appellate Division of the High Court when these roles were established in 2019 and 2021 respectively. In addition to his present role in the College, he concurrently presides over criminal matters in the State Courts.

In the field of adult education, he was awarded the “Most Outstanding Adjunct” faculty member of the Singapore Management University School of Law. He also sits on the Advisory Board of the Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute and is a Fellow of that Institute.

He previously served as the Ministry of Law’s Counsel for Parliamentary Affairs, as well as a legal policy officer in that Ministry. He is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
