Amendments to Practice Directions 2019

Amendment No. 1 of 2019 of the Singapore International Commercial Court Practice Directions contains amendments to Parts II, VII, XXII and Appendix B. The amendments are summarised below: 

1. amendments to paragraph 11, on communications with the SICC Registry;
2. amendments to paragraph 16, on interpreters and translation;
3. amendments to paragraph 17, on production of record of hearing;
4. amendments to paragraph 18, on the use of electronic and other devices;
5. amendments to paragraph 38, on deductions from deposit;
6. amendments to paragraph 39, on statements of account;
7. amendments to paragraph 149, on skeletal arguments for appeals before the Court of Appeal;
8. the introduction of a new paragraph 149B, on applications before the Court of Appeal; and
9. amendments to Appendix B Form 2A, on request for interpretation services.

The amendments take effect on 22 July 2019.
