Covid-19 advisory: State Courts' operations during phase 2 (heightened alert)

In response to the COVID-19 Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) period from 22 July to 18 August 2021, the State Courts' operations will be as follows.

Hearings and counter services

Hearings in the State Courts will continue to be conducted using remote communications technology, where possible and appropriate. The Central Registry counter services and Business Centre will remain open.

Court users and members of the public are strongly encouraged to access the online services available on the State Courts website or the case management systems (ICMS, eLitigation and CJTS), call or write to us instead of making a trip to the State Courts. 

Public facilities for court users

The café located in the State Courts is currently not serving dine-ins. Takeaways are available. 

Update on 10 Aug: Dine-in service in the café is subject to the prevailing safe management measures.

Update on 19 Aug: The Library is open from 8.30am to 12.30pm (Monday - Friday, excluding public holidays), only 20 persons will be allowed at any time.

The Heritage Gallery is currently closed.
