To facilitate the updating of the eLitigation System, there will be a temporary suspension of electronic filing service for matters in the Supreme Court starting on Friday, 22 December 2023 at 1900 hours and ending on Tuesday, 26 December 2023 at 2359 hours (“the Temporary Suspension Period”).
2 Where the deadline for the filing of any document falls within the Temporary Suspension Period, it is advisable to file that document via eLitigation before 1200 hours on Friday, 22 December 2023.
3 Any person who needs to file any document or make any urgent application during the Temporary Suspension Period may see the Duty Registrar in the Supreme Court for directions. The Duty Registrar may:
(a) extend the time for the filing of that document to a date on or after 27 December 2023;
(b) grant permission for that document or application to be filed in hard copy, or for a hard copy of that document or application to be used (for the purposes of a hearing), on a solicitor’s undertaking to file the same electronically on or after 27 December 2023 or on any other condition; or
(c) make such other order as may be appropriate in the circumstances.
