NOTE: This has been updated by the "New Family Justice Rules to take effect on 15 October 2024" announcement dated 16 September 2024.
1. The Family Justice Courts Practice Directions 2014 (“FJCPD 2014”) will be updated for use with the amended Family Justice Rules 2014 (the “new Rules”).
2. In line with the recommendations made in the Report of the Committee to Review and Enhance Reforms in the Family Justice System, the Family Justice Courts conducted a comprehensive review and redesign of key court forms in the FJCPD 2014. The redesign exercise focused on the most frequently used court forms such as substantive and procedural applications filed in divorce and financial relief proceedings.
3. A sampling of Court Forms in draft version is made available for interim reference. All court forms in the new FJC Practice Directions will be filed electronically either as a PDF upload or as an electronic form in eLitigation. This digitalisation will be implemented in phases. The selected court forms will include examples from both categories.
4. Please note that the draft is subject to changes. The finalised version will be published within the new Family Justice Courts Practice Directions when the new Rules are gazetted for implementation later in 2024.
