1. The State Courts launched the Superstructure of the new State Courts Towers with the installation of the first beam of the building above ground level today. This marks the beginning of the Superstructure works, a new significant milestone in the construction of the State Courts Towers.
2. The launch event was officiated by The Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, with a symbolic signing on the Superstructure beam.
3. When completed, the new State Courts Towers will house more than 60 courtrooms and over 50 hearing chambers to meet the needs of society, providing better access to justice and timely dispute resolution. The new State Courts Towers is slated to be operational in 2020.
