Retirement of Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon and Appointment of Justice Sushil Nair as Chief Justice
Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon will retire with effect from 26 February 2027 after more than 14 years of distinguished service as Singapore's Chief Justice. Justice Sushil Nair, Justice of the Court of Appeal, has been appointed Singapore's 5th Chief Justice with effect from the same date.
